Distrukt is a distortion plugin I made where you draw the distortion yourself on a pixel grid. Underneath it there's a 16-step sequencer for glitches like stutters, tape stops and pitch jumps, and it runs in time with your project.

The drawing
The big grid is the distortion. How loud the input is goes left to right, and what comes out goes bottom to top, so a straight diagonal line doesn't change the sound at all.
Pink squares shape the curve, green ones add ripple, and white crushes that part down to bits.
If you don't feel like drawing, hit grow and it'll make one. Mutate changes it a little, and the thumbnails on the side are variations you can click on. Turning up drive pushes the sound harder into whatever you drew, and bass stays in tune.
The glitch sequencer
16 steps under the grid, synced to your tempo at 1/8, 1/16 or 1/32. Pick a glitch and click the steps you want it on.
- stutter repeats a slice
- roll a buzz roll that speeds up
- crush 8-bit
- stop tape stop
- reverse plays the last step backwards
- pitch click again to switch between +12, +7 and -12
- gate chops the step up
- scatter grabs audio from a few steps back
The glitch knob adds random ones on the empty steps.

Install
- Buy it on Patreon and download the zip.
- Run the installer. Windows might show a blue "protected your PC" popup because it isn't signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- In Ableton go to Settings > Plug-Ins and hit Rescan. It's under E Audio.
